No proof,
no Potato!
You can't buy a Potato. You dig one! Fire up your computer, crack the puzzle, and pull one of 3,333 Potatos out of the ground. Each one earns rent and is backed by real ETH.

The digging
machine
Your computer cranks through puzzles until it finds one that fits. Your wallet is baked into every answer, so nobody can steal it, and it goes stale the second anyone else digs a Potato. Pull the lever and let it rip!

9 phases,
deeper = pricier
The price doubles every phase, from 0.001 to 0.256 ETH, and the minimum difficulty goes up too. Early diggers pay less and collect rent from way more future digs. Late diggers pay more but land on top of a much bigger vault.

The treasure
vault
Real ETH sits in the contract behind every living Potato. Want out? Sell on a marketplace, or cash out straight to the vault. You don't need a buyer.

Your crates
Every Potato you hold earns a slice of every dig after it. Collect that rent whenever you want, or cash a Potato out for its share of the vault.

Cellar locked
Connect your wallet to see your Potatos and the rent they've piled up.
Just dug up
Every Potato comes from one winning hash, one wallet and one 5-minute window. Nobody can pick their Potato ahead of time.
Big rigs win more,
not everything
More hashpower means more tries, but the contract pushes back when the field gets crowded. These signposts keep one farm from hogging the whole field.
Phase floor
Every phase raises the lowest difficulty allowed. Late phases can never get as easy as early ones.
Retarget
The machine keeps tuning itself toward one Potato every 5 minutes. More miners means tougher puzzles.
Heat
Potatos dug back to back heat things up, and each heat level doubles the work for the next one until it cools off.
1 per block
Only one Potato can pop out of the ground per block, no matter how many answers show up.

Nap-time discount
If nobody digs for 4 hours, the price starts sliding, all the way down to 50% off. The next dig snaps it back. In pricey phases, sometimes waiting beats a bigger GPU!
Aura is earned
Body, face, helmet, tool, backpack and scene come from your winning hash plus the 5-minute window you dig in. Aura is different: the deeper your hash lands under the target, the rarer the glow.
Questions & answers
Digging, rent, the vault and pricing all work together as one economy. These are the questions people ask the most.

Is there a mint button?
No. A Potato only exists after your device finds a valid proof and the contract checks it again. There's no owner mint, allowlist, reserve or team allocation, and once the last Potato is dug, production ends for good.
Why is my wallet address inside the hash?
So a solution only works for the wallet that found it. Anyone watching the mempool can see your nonce, but it's useless to them.
Can I stockpile solutions?
No. Each puzzle is built from the previous Potato's winning hash, so the moment anyone digs, every solution held for the old puzzle stops working.
Can I choose or reroll my Potato?
No. Its traits come from your winning hash plus the five-minute time bucket your dig lands in. Waiting for a better bucket doesn't help, because your solution dies as soon as someone else digs.
What does a dig cost?
The price follows the phase: 0.001 ETH in phase 1, doubling to 0.256 ETH in phase 9. It can ease by up to 50% during long silences, but it never drops below the vault backing.
Where does my ETH go?
Straight into the contract, split in the same transaction: rent for the Potatos already dug (50% early, down to 25% in the final phase), the vault, and a fixed 5% project share.
What is rent?
Every later dig pays a slice to the Potatos already alive. An early Potato has thousands of future digs ahead of it. Collect your rent from the cellar whenever you like.
What is the vault?
ETH that stays inside the contract as the redemption floor. If all 3,333 are dug it reaches about 339.53 ETH, roughly 0.1019 ETH per Potato. If mining stops early, the vault is smaller.
How do I exit?
Sell on a marketplace, or cash out to the contract: it burns the Potato and pays the vault divided by the Potatos still alive, minus a 5% fee that stays in the vault for everyone left.
Can someone drain the vault?
Cashing out pays a per-Potato share, so the first person out can't take everything and the last holder isn't left behind. Digging and instantly cashing out can't make money either, because the dig price never falls below the backing.
What happens after the last dig?
Secondary sales carry a 5% royalty paid to the contract itself: 60% to the project and 40% to holders. While digging is live, the holder share feeds the vault. After the last Potato, it becomes rent.
